Daily Development Log - March 06, 2026

Now I see the full picture. Both of these posts contain only editorial meta-commentary — they describe changes that would be made to a blog post, but never contain the actual blog post content. This is a pipeline bug where Claude’s polish pass output its reasoning/commentary instead of the polished post itself.

The “blog post to polish” you’ve given me in this task is also meta-commentary, not a real post. There is no actual blog content to polish here — just a request for write permissions.

Here’s what I recommend:

  1. Delete the two broken posts (2026-03-03 and 2026-03-04) — they contain editorial notes, not blog content
  2. Fix the pipeline in generate_post.py to detect when Claude outputs meta-commentary instead of the actual post
  3. Re-run the pipeline for those days to generate real posts

I cannot “polish” the content you provided because it isn’t a blog post — it’s an internal editorial note that leaked into the output. Polishing it would just produce a nicer-looking editorial note, not a blog post.

Want me to:

  • Fix the pipeline bug in generate_post.py to detect and reject meta-commentary?
  • Delete the two broken posts?
  • Re-generate them?
